DESCRIPTION:Join us for a very special event to celebrate the Olympic Games in Paris 2024!\n \nCarnoustie Claymores will swim 800 lengths to represent the 800 miles between Carnoustie and the host city of the Olympic Games 2024\, Paris!\n \nWhen – Wednesday June 12th\, 6pm -8pm (possibly split into two sessions depending on numbers)\nWhere – Carnoustie High School pool\nFormat – 4 teams\, each swimming 200 lengths\, relay style. Teams will be decided once we have sign ups\, to make it a fair spread of age/stage of swimmer. ALL SWIMMERS are welcome\, any number of lengths contributed will count\, whether its 1\, 10 or 100! It’s all about the teamwork.\n \nParents/carers are welcome poolside to support their swimmer.\n \nHow to sign up – please email lindaoliphant@carnoustieclaymores.com to register for your place\, closing date for participants Wed 22nd May\n \nWe ask for a minimum of £10 sponsorship per participant in this exciting team event\, celebratory ‘Road to Paris’ Carnoustie Claymores Swim Caps will be provided. Funds raised will go towards our summer team building event. Prize for the team completing their 200 lengths first to keep a bit of healthy competition.\n \nSponsor forms can be obtained via Linda\, donations can be made either to the club bank account or in cash poolside.
