Period Workshop, 14 years and under, Puberty, Periods and Aquatics

Hi, I’m Hannah Miley, triple Olympic swimmer. Have you ever felt one day you have lots of energy and the next day really flat and tired? Menstruation and puberty can be challenging times to navigate through as a young athlete. Society and information surrounding this topic can be hard to find. Hormones should not hold you back from being able to achieve what you want in sport. Understanding how your hormones work, the impact they have and how to best manage them to help you be the best you can be! These workshops are aimed at understanding what is menstruation, how we can work towards breaking the barriers and stereotypes so we can see how incredible the female body is!
